First Tackle Grab Unboxing

Today I got my first Tackle Grab box in the mail today. I got some really nice baits that I can't wait to use on the water when the snow melts.

The first bait I got was a Backstabber Lures Mid-Depth Crankbait.. This is a 1/2 once crank that dives 8-12 ft in the water. The design of the hook is pretty neat, with one treble hook on the top (back stabber) and one on the bottom lets the fish get hooked on the top lip so the fish doesn't get away. The hooks also move 360 degrees and is snag resistant. I'm going to throwing this one a lot in the season. This retails for $8.99.

Next I got a Gambler Southern Swim Jig by Gambler Lures. It's a 5/16 jig with a 6/0 heavy wire hook. This jig is perfect for throwing on braid or a heavy line. I'll throw this lie a spinnerbait then let it sit to let the trailer bait do some action. This would be perfect for cover like lily pads and tall weeds. This retails for $3.99.

Next I got a Gambler Twin Tail Craw Grub by Gambler Lures. This is enhanced with Gambler Bite so the fish hold on better. This can be Texas rigged or put on as a trailer for that Gambler Southern Swim Jig That I got. You can craw this along the bottom of the weeds and do 2-4 in. hops while bringing it in. This retails for $2.35 for a 5-pack.

Then there was 5 2/0 Pen Hooks worm hook from Penetration Hooks. This hooks have a brand new innovative hook design for sitting down further down the bait. They also have a dual tip barb. You can rig this on a worm, lizard, creature bait, or a stick bait. This retails $3.99 for a 5-pack.

Lastly I got a River2Sea Bubble Popper. This has open gill plates to create sound and leave a trail f bubbles to draw in the fish. Has the action of a walking bait with the sounds of a popper and Daiichi extra sharp hooks. You throw this with a medium rod and use a downward motion to give the bait some action.

So that was everything I got in this months Tackle Grab box. Keep a look out for next month's post on the Tackle Grab box.
